Tom Boyette and Dawn Diedrich
506 S. Candler St.

Tom and Dawn have owned their 1904 Victorian Revival since 1994 and have worked tirelessly to renovate and restore it to its original glory. It was originally owned by Dr. King, a chief chemist for Coca-Cola. Renovations include the kitchen, downstairs bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the front porch.

Throughout the home you will see Dawn’s unique collection of nativities as well as collections of snowmen, Santas, and holiday plates. Tom’s collection of oilcans is on display as well. While renovating the house, Tom found two “time capsules”: a signature and date of 1918 in the master bath closet and a 1945 newspaper comic section found in the old kitchen chimney. He has left one for future owners, a Decatur Focus in a plastic bag inside the pantry wall.
