This is the 26th Annual Decatur Holiday Candlelight Tour of homes. Take a look inside eight of Decatur’s most interesting homes. This year’s tour focuses on homes renovated in eco-friendly ways, using “green” materials and techniques to minimize their impact on the Earth. Take the free Cliff shuttle from home to home, and to four exciting points of interest. You may visit all of the places in one evening or spread your visit over both nights.
Proceeds from the tour benefit the Decatur Youth Fund, which sends disadvantaged Decatur youths to summer school, summer camp and specialty camps, and the Decatur Preservation Alliance, which operates the Woodlands Garden and works to protect and preserve the city’s architectural heritage.

About the Cliff Bus: Emory University is working in partnership with the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy to fuel its Cliff Bus fleet, which is providing transportation for the Tour of Homes, with a B2O biodeisel. The fuel is created with cooking oil recycled from Emory dining services and other area restaurants.
Dedication
This year’s Holiday Candlelight Tour of Homes is dedicated to the memory of Ruth Golley. Ruth was an enthusiastic supporter of the Tour of Homes for many years. She not only sponsored a home each year, but also served as a house captain, always welcoming other volunteers and participants. Ruth was a tireless volunteer in our Decatur community and her memory will stay with us all.
